All our cattle are pedigree and registered with the Dexter Cattle Society.
Fernhall is the home to the CwmmaMoors herd of Pedigree Dexter Cattle.
We are Red Tractor Farm Assured.
We are members of the Dexter Beef Certification Mark, ensuring all our beef is from pedigree Dexter cattle.
Our cattle are grass fed and graze rough grassland and wildflower meadows......

They are housed for the winter when the ground becomes to wet and fed on hay and round bale silage.
Dexters are slow growing and slow maturing, they are normally around 28-30 months old when slaughtered, they are then hung for a minimum of 21 day giving it the superb taste and tenderness.
We sell the beef in 5kg or 10kg(approx) boxes. It's vacuum packed to ensure freshness and labelled ready for your freezer.
