A charming, listed 2 bedroom cottage full of character and exposed beams attached to our farm house, parts of which date back to the late 14th century.We rent our 300 acre farm from the National Trust. It is a high nature status farm, looking after the wildflowers and wildlife aswell as our own herd of pedigree Dexter cattle, 250 ewes, chickens and Pygmy goats. Guests are free to explore the farm and enjoy walks around the picturesque countryside. Situated between Hay-on-Wye and Kington we are close to Offas Dyke, the book town of Hay-On-Wye, The Black Mountains and the Brecon Beacons. The cottage is comfortable, well equipped and furnished to a high standard. It has two bedrooms. 1 with a kingsize bed and the other is a twin with two small double beds. Kitchen includes a washing machine, cooker, microwave and fridge. Lounge has a T.V and DVD player, with a back door that leads to its own private garden. Free WiFi. Cottage is snug and warm benefiting from central heating and secondary glazing.
Fresh farm eggs and Dexter beef (when available) to purchase on farm.
1 well behaved dog welcome. Parking for two cars.
